December 18, 2012 -- Peru- Concluding Statement of the 2012 Article IV Consultation Mission
Describes the preliminary findings of IMF staff at the conclusion of certain missions (official staff visits, in most cases to member countries). Latin America and the Caribbean is expected to expand by 4.5 percent in 2011 and to moderate to about 4 percent in 2012. Although the slowdown in advanced economies is projected to have only a moderate effect in most countries, large risks to the outlook loom, the IMF said.
