I am happy to announce the opening of a new website for the International Monetary Fund's Resident Representative office in Beijing, China. The website provides information on the activities of the Resident Represent office in China, including speeches and interviews given by Mr. Brooks (the Resident Representative) and myself. The website also provides links to documents concerning IMF relations with China, and to a wide range of material published by the IMF in Chinese. Given the rapidly growing use of the internet in China we hope that the site will provide a useful means of disseminating information about the activities of the IMF's Office in Beijing.
