Mr. Humberto Arbulú-Neira Mr. Humberto E. Arbulú-Neira has been the IMF Resident Representative since August 2004. Before assuming this position, he worked at IMF Headquarters in Washington DC performing several duties, including country mission direction. Mr. Arbulú-Neira was IMF Resident Representative in Uruguay and Venezuela, and Chief Economist of the IMF Office in Europe (Paris). Before joining the IMF in 1982, he was General Manager at the Reserve Central Bank of Peru. |

Mr. Keith Cuthbert Mr. Keith Cuthbert, an economist from the Central Bank of Nicaragua, has been the Research Assistant since July 2005. In addition to following the country's economic and political developments, he prepares macroeconomic reports and provides statistical information to the Resident Representative and the IMF mission. |

Miss Mariela Castro Miss Mariela Castro, Office Assistant, has worked for the IMF Office in Nicaragua since 2003. She takes care of administrative and office duties. |

Mr. Nazario Antonio García Mr. Nazario García Blas, driver and security officer, has worked for the Resident Representative since 1994. Before joining the office, he performed similar responsibilities for the Central Bank of Nicaragua. Mr. García has worked for the four IMF Resident Representatives that have been on duty since the IMF Office opened in Nicaragua. |
