Kim Zieschang is Chief of the Real Sector Division of the IMF Statistics Department (STA). Research interests are economic statistics, national accounting, index numbers, and measuring financial services production and consumption. He has published articles in Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of the Americal Statistical Association, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, Econometrica, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Economics Letters, and chapters in NBER books. He contributed chapters to the Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index, and Export and Import Price Index Manuals of the Intersecretariat Working Group on Price Statistics (IWGPS). He is one of STA's representatives on the Inter-Secretariat Working Group on National Accounts (ISWGNA) and served on ISWGNA's Pension and Financial Intermediation Services Task Forces. He serves on the Technical Advisory Group of the International Comparison Program (ICP) headquartered at the World Bank, and as IMF's alternate representative on the ICP Executive Board.
