Content and structure
Scope and content: Series contains meeting records of the IMF Institute's predecessor committee, as well as the preliminary committee set up in 1949 to plan for a training program to be offered by IMF. Includes minutes of the Training Program Committee, or Preparatory Committee as it was informally known, May-June, 1949 and regular Training (Program) Committee Minutes from May 1950 to 1963, the last active year of the Committee prior to the establishment of the IMF Institute. Minutes document all key decisions and discussions of the Committee such as the formation and announcement of the IMF's new training program, sources and methods of recruitment, and problems and changes in courses. Arranged in reverse chronological order.
