Content and structure
Scope and content: Series consists of general correspondence and contains correspondence sent to Managing Director H. Johannes Witteveen both from those interested in IMF issues such as stability and international monetary reform, demonetization of gold, and petrodollars, and from the general public, or those not necessarily connected to IMF business. This group of files mostly contains the original incoming correspondence with a reply from either the Managing Director, his personal assistants or the Department heads. This material is arranged in alphabetical order.
Series includes a file of correspondence with Dr. J.F.B. Nuboer, who worked with Witteveen at Robeco in the Netherlands. See also Chronological files for outgoing correspondence.
