Patrizia Tumbarello is the Unit Chief of the Pacific Islands Unit in the Asia and Pacific Department of the International Monetary Fund. She is the mission chief for the Solomon Islands. Her previous assignments included Australia, emerging markets (Vietnam, Algeria and Morocco) and low-income countries (Albania, Moldova, Timor Leste), including few Pacific Islands (Kiribati, Papua New Guinea and Samoa), program and surveillance cases.
