Only officials who successfully complete the Distance Segment of the Financial Programming and Policies through Distance Learning will be invited to the Residential Segment that concludes this course.

Applicants are expected to have an advanced degree in economics or equivalent experience, along with proficiency in the use of spreadsheets.

The Residential Segment of the Financial Programming and Policies - Distance Learning course is a two-week residential workshop for those participants who successfully complete the distance learning segment. During the residential workshop segment, participants are expected the do the following: - attend lectures on specialized topics and case study presentations that focus on stabilization and reform measures, as well as the changing role of the Fund and evolving architecture of the international monetary systems; - finalize the baseline scenario for the case study country; and - prepare an adjustment program for the case study country.
