IMF Institute Online Application

This form is used to apply for courses at the IMF Institute headquarters (HQ) in Washington, D.C., including the Distance Learning (DL) courses, (see additional admissions requirements), IMF-administered courses at the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI) in Austria, and courses at the IMF-Singapore Regional Training Institute (STI) in Singapore.

Applications must be completed in the language of the course. Applications for courses conducted in Arabic and all courses at the JVI should be completed in English. The IMF Admissions Committee may require an approved language test for course applicants whose working language is not the same as the language of the course.

 
The closing date for applications is strictly observed.
 
It may take 20-30 minutes to fill out the form. You may review the blank sample copy before starting. If you are unable to complete the form online, you may fax your completed Application Form (PDF file) to the IMF Institute in Washington, D.C. at +1(202) 623-6490. For courses at STI only, you may fax the following Application Form to STI at +65 6225 6080.

Application Requirements
 
Acknowledgement of Receipt
  • You will receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your application.
  • The reference number in the e-mail should be used in all correspondence regarding your application.
  • If you are applying online, do not send a hard copy of your application form.
 
Notification
  • The IMF Institute will contact you approximately ten weeks prior to the start of the course to inform you of the decision of the Admissions Committee.
 
Privacy Policy
  • Your application will remain confidential. The IMF does not distribute, sell, or rent any information collected on this site.
