IMF Managing Director Rodrigo de Rato to Visit Russia, Germany, Poland, and SpainMr. Rodrigo de Rato, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), will travel to Moscow, Russia (November 17-18), Berlin, Germany (November 19-21), Warsaw, Poland (November 21-22), and Oviedo, Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid, Spain (November 23-26). In Moscow, Mr. de Rato will meet Russian authorities and other senior officials to discuss Russia's economic prospects and policy priorities, and other issues of mutual interest. In Berlin, Mr. de Rato will meet with the German authorities and participate in the G-20 Meeting of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors. In Warsaw, Mr. de Rato will meet with the leadership of the country to discuss Poland's economic performance and its integration into the European Union. In Spain, Mr. de Rato will participate in a Congress of Chief Executive Officers in Valencia on how to manage enterprises in an enlarged European Union and in academic events at Oviedo and Barcelona universities. In Madrid, he will participate in a meeting at the Fundacíon para el Análisis y los Estudios Sociales (FAES) with Latin American parliamentarians. IMF EXTERNAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT
