IMF Alternate Executive Director O'Loghlin Nominates Rodrigo Rato as Candidate for the Post of Managing Director of the IMF

Mr. Charles X. O'Loghlin, an Alternate Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has made the following statement to the IMF Executive Board:

"I am pleased, on behalf of the member states of the European Union, hereby to nominate Mr. Rodrigo Rato as a candidate for the position of Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund."
