IMF Managing Director Rodrigo de Rato to Travel to MexicoPress Release No. 06/58

Mr. Rodrigo de Rato, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, will travel to Mexico, March 22-25, to participate in a meeting of the Capital Markets Consultative Group (CMCG) in Mexico City, and to address the Annual Conference of the Association of Mexican Banks in Acapulco.
The CMCG was established in July 2000 by the IMF's Managing Director to provide a forum for informal dialogue between participants in international capital markets and the IMF, represented by its management and members of its senior staff.
During his stay in Mexico City and Acapulco the Managing Director is also scheduled to meet with Mexican authorities and representatives of the private sector.
