| The June 2004 meeting of the Balance of Payments Technical Expert Group discussed this paper on a preliminary basis. All who spoke supported option 2, although with some noting that it should be a transitional position on the way to Option 4 in a subsequent update of the BOP manual. However, they have not yet made a final decision and the issue remains on the research agenda, and will be discussed further at their next meeting in December. |
