The Moderator posts today a first draft of the Interim Report on the EDG on pensions. Comments are welcome, to be send at: STAGOP@imf.org. A second draft is planned early September and a final draft of the Interim Report is scheduled for September 12, 2003.
The Interim Report comprises 44 pages:
Section I provides an executive summary.
Section II introduces some background with a short history and review of business accounting rules.
Section III introduces the scope of the EDG after summarizing the 1993 SNA recordings and terminology.
Section IV summarizes each EDG contribution.
Section V provides a summary of the Moderator of first trends, suggested recommendations to the ISWGNA and a timetable.
Appendices list EDG contributions and members.
