This summary, is an abstract from the draft summary conclusions of the Second Meeting of the Advisory Expert Group on National Accounts (AEG). The discussion of the statistical treatment of employers? pension schemes was held on December 16, 2004. The papers discussed were: the paper posted by the Moderators on December 2, 2004, and the paper posted by Eurostat on December 3, 2004. The AEG plays a key role in the current revision of the System of National Accounts 1993 by giving advice to the five international organizations responsible for this project.
