### Workshop objectives and content
- Objective: Provide an opportunity to explore how the IMF uses its financial programming framework to analyze member country economic prospects and risks and to make policy recommendations.
- Content themes:
  - Overview of how the IMF analyzes macroeconomic issues, including through the use of its financial programming tool.
  - Real country case studies of IMF surveillance and program activities.
  - Hands-on group case analysis and group presentations using tools introduced in the classroom.
  - Sessions on fiscal policy, monetary and financial sector policies, and macro-financial linkages.
  - Discussion of IMF policy advice and IMF-supported programs through country cases.
