- Rec. II.7: Regular reporting to BIS of table 1.1 stocks at nominal value and experimental table 1.2 stocks at market value and 3.1 from-whom-to-whom at market value, all with limitation of partial sector institutional coverage due to domestic practice of face value. II.7: Working on calculation of quarterly data on stocks of debt securities issues at market value (table 1.2), Net transactions at market value (table 1.3), debt securities holdings by sector at market value (table 2.1), and net transactions (table 2.2), to have all four tables ready (with data as of Q2 2021) by the beginning of December 2021. Developing processes for classification needed as part of data structure definition to obtain SDMX code.
- Challenges:
  - Rec. II.7: Developing a flexible and robust system to calculate all statistics and ensure accuracy.
  - Rec. II.8: For 2021, Mexico will publish recurrent updates for quarterly accounts by institutional sector 155 days after the quarter and continue work on Trend templates (Sector level 2 of original proposal), considering tables 4.a. New fin. trends (Q); 4.b. New fin. trends (A) and 5. From-whom-to-whom (Q & A). In September 2020, quarterly whom-to-whom sectoral tables were published; scope still being analyzed to cover sectoral requirement of templates.
