Kelly Eckhold is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund. He has worked at the IMF since 2011 after a 20-year career at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. His work focuses on central bank monetary policy implementation and foreign exchange operations issues. He has been involved in a range of IMF work including Financial Sector Assessment Program teams in Korea and the United Kingdom, as well as technical assistance in a range of developing and emerging market countries. Mr. Eckhold holds an Honors degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Otago in New Zealand.
