Maja Gavrilovic is a Senior Economist in the Balance of Payments Division of the IMF’s Statistics Department. Before her role at the IMF, she was a Head of the Balance of Payments Division at the National Bank of Serbia. In addition to offering technical support to member countries regarding external sector statistics, she has actively participated in various divisional projects, including the Coordinated Direct Investment Survey, the Balance of Payments Statistics Yearbook, the Quota Exercise, and the Special Purpose Entities Project. She holds an MSc degree in Econometrics and a PhD in Political Economics from the University of Belgrade, Serbia.
