Target Audience
Insurance supervisors from SARTTAC countries belonging to an insurance supervision authority of the SAR region and having experience in insurance supervision.

Workshop is open to all qualified and eligible officials.
Course Description
The workshop will cover a range of supervisory issues regarding the insurance sector, with a focus on the Insurance Core Principles (ICP), the Insurance Capital Standard proposed by the IAIS, the management of new risks (climate-related financial risks and-cyber risks), the management of prudential and market conduct risks, the intensity of off-site supervision, and best practices in Insurance Stress-Testing. In addition, the course will cover the issues related to the IFRS 17.
