Target Audience
- Directors and senior members of the leadership team of revenue administrations in the region.
- Participants who are currently or potentially responsible for building strategic and operational plans, or reform plan(s).
Qualifications
- No formal qualifications required.
- Participants should have at least ten years' experience in a RA.
- Participants should hold a current or potential role to contribute to the organization's strategic and/or operational planning and reform agenda during the next three to five years.
Course Description — Scope and Approach
- Based on the practice of adaptive leadership and its application to achieve organizational goals of revenue administrations (RAs).
- Designed for officials at senior management levels to implement organizational change and execute reform and modernization plans.
- Emphasis on developing leadership skills to contribute to the design and implementation of strategic and annual plans of RAs.
- Learning methods include case studies, role-play, and breakout sessions to apply concepts to participants' RA reform experiences.
- Course coverage includes environmental scanning, stakeholder engagement, conflict management, calibration of change management processes, and contemporary issues affecting RAs such as gender equity, transparency and accountability, and role of technology.
- The course aims to be a transformative experience enabling participants to effectively exercise leadership roles upon return to their respective RAs.
