The Indonesian economy continues to perform well. Economic growth has stabilized at near 5 percent, inflation has moderated, the current account deficit is manageable, and systemic risks are contained. Indonesia is in a good position to address its socio-economic challenges. Creating sufficient jobs for its young and growing population and reaping the benefits of the demographic dividend requires higher sustainable and inclusive growth and economic diversification.
