### Program overview and real-world impact
- The IMF Giving Together is the IMF’s corporate giving program which supports employees’ giving back to the community, both locally and internationally. It encompasses: (i) staff Giving; (ii) disaster relief appeals; (iii) management donations; (iv) grants to local and international charities; and (v) staff volunteering activities.
- Giving Together is supported by employees, retirees, and the Fund’s corporate giving initiatives and raises funds for disaster relief, organizes staff volunteering, awards charitable grants, and runs the IMF’s annual Giving Campaign.
- Fiscal year 2024 was one of the program’s biggest years, with donations to nonprofits totaling US$ 5.1M.

### Giving — campaigns and disaster relief
- Annual giving campaign “Together for Every Child” ran from November 2023 to January 2024 and raised $3.4 million in donations and matching funds from IMF staff and retirees to support organizations helping children in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and across the globe.
- Fundraisers organized to support humanitarian and disaster relief efforts in Morocco, Libya, Gaza, Israel, and Yemen raised $592,000 (including the corporate match).

### Volunteering — staff engagement and activities
- Service is a key component of Giving Together, conducted through Fund-wide service days and individual and small group service activities.

- During Fiscal Year 2024, staff volunteered to help nonprofit organizations serving the Washington, D.C. metro area, including assembling kits for the homeless in partnership with Miriam’s Kitchen for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of service, and cleaning up local parkland in collaboration with Ward 8 Woods.
- In conjunction with the 2023 Annual Meetings in Marrakech, IMF and World Bank staff organized a volunteering event in Marrakesh to help people affected by the earthquake in partnership with Project Soar.
