### Course description and core content
- Purpose:
  - Deepen participants' understanding of inclusive growth
  - Equip participants with analytical and operational tools—such as the Inclusive Growth Dashboard—to assess how macroeconomic policies affect growth, poverty, inequality, and job creation
- Topics covered:
  - Key concepts and metrics of inclusive growth
  - Fiscal, financial, and structural policies that support inclusive growth, with emphasis on labor markets, human capital, and sustainable growth
  - Economic opportunities and challenges from longer-term structural trends, including technological change (e.g., artificial intelligence) and demographic shifts
  - Country case studies to illustrate application of concepts
- Learning format:
  - Lectures covering theory and metrics
  - Interactive workshops providing hands-on experience applying concepts and designing inclusive growth strategies

### Course objectives (learning outcomes)
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Interpret measures of poverty and inequality.
- Analyze how macroeconomic policies can promote growth, reduce poverty, and address inequality.
- Understand the growth and distributional impact of long-term structural trends—such as artificial intelligence and demographic shifts—and the associated policy challenges and implications.
- Identify obstacles to inclusive growth and design reform strategies tailored to their country context.
