### Qualifications and Target Participants
- Participants are expected to have at least three to five years of experience in AML/CFT supervision and/or have good knowledge of AML/CFT concepts.
- Target audience: supervisory, government and international organization officials who want to gain a deeper understanding on how to develop and implement an effective risk-based approach to AML/CFT supervision of financial institutions.

- Presented by the Institute for Capacity Development and the Financial Integrity Group of the Legal Department.
- Teaches foundational principles, methodologies, and tools necessary to implement an effective risk-based supervisory framework.
- Covers international standards for risk-based supervision and the necessary legal and regulatory framework critical for AML/CFT risk-based supervision of financial institutions.
- Focuses on practical application of essential elements of a risk-based approach to AML/CFT supervision.
- Equips participants to develop appropriate supervisory strategies and use a sound and effective risk-based approach for both offsite and onsite AML/CFT supervision of financial institutions.
