      "content": "- Target Audience:\n  - Participants who hold a position at the middle management level or higher in a federal revenue administration.\n- Qualifications:\n  - Participants are expected to have at least 5 years' experience in a federal revenue administration or an equivalent organization at the middle management level."

      "content": "- The Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool (TADAT) provides a 360-degree diagnostic of the performance of a tax administration using nine performance areas and 28 indicators.\n- TADAT assessments focus on the administration of the following core taxes:\n  - Goods and Services Tax (GST) / Value Added Tax (VAT)\n  - Corporate Income Tax (CIT)\n  - Personal Income Tax (PIT)\n  - Pay As You Earn Amounts (PAYE)\n  - Domestic Excise Taxes\n- By assessing outcomes in relation to the administration of these core taxes, a picture can be developed of the relative strengths and weaknesses of a country's tax administration system.\n- The performance assessment is first used at the national or sub-national system-wide level; thereafter, particularly in a large country with a federal structure such as India, regional variations can be identified by conducting guided assessments at the regional level to identify specific weaknesses in different regions."

      "content": "- The training workshop is presented by the TADAT Secretariat and consists of the following presentations:\n  - (i) the design principle and purpose of TADAT;\n  - (ii) the scoring methodology for each of the performance areas and indicators based on the TADAT Field Guide;\n  - (iii) the pre-assessment, assessment, and post-assessment phases of a TADAT diagnostic; and\n  - (iv) how to prepare a quality Performance Assessment Report (PAR).\n- Interactive components:\n  - Discussion sessions with practice exercises and case studies mimicking real life situations.\n  - A one-hour TADAT online exam is conducted."

      "content": "- Certification:\n  - Those who pass the exam (75 percent correct response) will receive a TADAT certificate.\n- Post-course engagement:\n  - Following successful completion of the course, participants who have some international experience may be invited to participate in conducting TADAT assessment in any other country.\n  - Participants will also be equipped to participate in an assessment of their own administration during the pre-assessment phase."
