### Course description and scope
- Purpose: To consider the importance of a risk-based approach to compliance and how this leads to the efficient administration of the revenue system.
- Intended participants: Those responsible for establishing or leading their administration's compliance risk function or unit.
- Pedagogical approach:
  - Cover theoretical concepts at the beginning of each module.
  - Follow theory with practical examples to aid understanding.
  - Employ group activities and discussions focused on alignment to the administration’s strategic direction.
  - Support development of administration-specific plans to implement a risk register and adopt risk differentiation.
