      "content": "- Asia is characterized as “the engine for global growth over the past decade and an innovation powerhouse” and can help strengthen the international monetary system and global financial safety net.\n- Partnership with Japan: IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva visited Japan in March 2026, meeting government and central bank leaders and delivering a keynote address at a symposium; the visit reaffirmed the partnership between the IMF and Japan.\n- The Office facilitates policy dialogue among policymakers in the region and supports high-level policy discussions and engagement in regional fora.\n- Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Asia (JISPA) is part of capacity development efforts."

      "content": "- The Office acts as a leading peer-to-peer learning center and hosts the Macroeconomist Training Program; student feedback includes: “I was impressed to realize that I could make my own inferences to some extent from the macroeconomics data after the program.”\n- Capacity development centers have been established in the region to strengthen member countries’ policymaking capacity.\n- Public outreach includes hosting public seminars, joining public events, promoting career opportunities, and communicating IMF messages via various channels (VIDEOS: IMF Videos | Facebook Videos; IMF Currency Quiz; IMF Quiz (English))."
