### Program overview
- The Japan - IMF Scholarship Program for Asia (JISPA) is an initiative for junior government officials from key economic agencies in Asia and the Pacific to pursue graduate-level economics degrees at Japanese universities.
- Objective: contribute to institutional capacity building in the region by equipping officials with advanced knowledge and skills in macroeconomic policymaking.
- Expectation: JISPA graduates are required to return to their home countries to serve as future macroeconomic policymakers and contribute to national economic development.
- Funded by the Government of Japan; administered by OAP.

### JISPA 30th anniversary

### Master's Track (flagship program)

### Ph.D. Track
- Offers government officials the opportunity to pursue doctoral studies in economics or related fields at any accredited university in Japan.
- Designed to advance research skills for future roles as economic policymakers and institutional leaders.
- Applicants must secure admission directly from their chosen university; the IMF does not manage university applications.
