### Meetings and findings
- The IMF technical mission held wide-ranging and detailed meetings with officials at the national statistics institute (INDEC) and Ministry of Economy regarding the methodology and underlying data on the new official CPI and GDP statistics.
- The team “was impressed by the authorities’ strong commitment to improving the quality and transparency regarding official data.”
- The team thanked their colleagues at INDEC and the Ministry of Economy “for the constructive and open discussions.”

- The team will return to Washington to complete a report that will form the basis for the Managing Director’s report to the Executive Board on the issue.
