  - Meet with representatives of the new Romanian Government and the National Bank of Romania.

  - Update the macroeconomic outlook.

- The mission will be headed by Mr. Joong Shik Kang.
- Mr. Joong Shik Kang has replaced Mr. Jan Kees Martijn as Romania mission chief.
- Mr. Jan Kees Martijn has been assigned to a new post in line with the IMF’s internal policies.

  - Mission chief for Romania and Greece.

  - Deputy mission chief to China.
  - Assistant to the director in Asia and Pacific Department.
  - Mission chief to Republic of the Marshall Islands.
- Education:
  - Studied economics at Seoul National University.
  - Holds a Ph.D. in economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
