December 12, 2025

Washington, DC: The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund approved the Beninese authorities’ request for an extension of the country’s Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) Arrangement until January 7, 2026, to align the RSF expiration date to that of the concurrent arrangements supported by the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Extended Credit Facility (ECF).

The two-year RSF arrangement was approved by the IMF’s Executive Board on December 14, 2023, with access of SDR 148.56 million (120 percent of quota) (see Press Release no 23/452).

The Executive Board’s decision was taken on a lapse-of-time basis.[1]
