### Guidelines for attending IMF press events
- All media holding valid and current accreditation from any of the following bodies may be granted access, upon display of their hard passes: IMF, US House and Senate Galleries, US Treasury, White House, Foreign Press Center, US State Department, or United Nations.
- Be ready to show credentials at the IMF visitor center.
- All visitors need to be escorted to enter IMF buildings.
- Media with other bona fide press credentials may be granted access with prior notice and clearance by the IMF Press Office of at least one business day before an event; copies of credentials must be provided to the IMF in a timely fashion and are subject to review and confirmation.
- Stringers or freelancers without the above credentials must contact the IMF Press Office at least 48 hours prior notice to register for any scheduled event and provide a valid signed assignment letter on letterhead from a bona fide news organization or publication; entry is granted or denied on a case-by-case and one-time-only basis.
- The IMF reserves the right to deny access to any member of the media, in its discretion.

- The IMF Press Center is a password-protected site for working journalists; users are instructed to Login or Register.
- Broadcast-quality videos are available from the IMF Media Center.
