Summary

The authorities remain committed to the ECF-supported program focused on fiscal
consolidation and strengthening fiscal governance, amid challenges posed by insecurity,
poverty, extreme weather events, and their interactions. The economic outlook for 2026–28 is
positive with real GDP growth projected at close to 5.0 percent and inflation below target;
however, the balance of risks is tilted to the downside.
