1/ A member must pay its quota subscription in full upon admission to the IMF. Subsequent increases in quota subscription become effective upon the member's consent and payment to the IMF of such increases. Prior to 1972, quotas were denominated in U.S. dollars.

2/ Effective December 14, 1992, the membership of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ceased and its financial position in the Fund, including quota subscriptions, was assumed by the successor states (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Croatia, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Slovenia, and Republic of Serbia).
