Privacy of Personal Information

This information is used by the IMF to understand which countries the users of the Sites visit from, when they visit, and other information about how users access the Sites. The intention is to inform analysis about how to improve and develop the IMF Sites. The IMF does not distribute, sell or rent any personal information collected via its Sites. The IMF does not send emails to users of its Sites unless specifically authorized by the user. The transmission of personal information entered via the Sites’ registration forms (e.g. IMF Online Employment Application form, Annual and Spring Meetings registration form) is protected by standard security features.

Email sent to us may not be secure. If you choose to send us an email message we may retain the content of the email, your email address and our response, and it becomes the property of the IMF.

The IMF provides links to a variety of other Internet resources. These sites are not governed by this privacy policy and users are encouraged to view the privacy policy of such other web sites before using or providing any information to the site.
