Spring Meetings Badges Available Beginning Monday, April 11, 2016

The Registration Office is open for badge pickup daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., from Monday April 11 — Sunday, April 17.

Attendance to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group Spring Meetings is by invitation only. All participants must be accredited in advance of the Meetings. To facilitate accreditation and registration, the participants are divided into different categories, described below. Please determine your registration category and submit your registration request accordingly.

Please note that an onsite Registration Desk operates for issuance of participant badges to those who are already accredited. Facilities for onsite accreditation are very limited and onsite accreditation is not guaranteed. Please plan your attendance at the Spring Meetings events in advance.

Participants are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible to avoid delays.

Delegates are governmental officials of the member countries of the IMF and the Bank. Delegates are registered through the IMF and World Bank Group Offices of Executive Directors. If you have any questions about Delegate registration, please forward your inquiries to meetingsregistration@imf.org.

Spring Meetings Observers are the representatives of the observer institutions to the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) and the Development Committee (DC). If you have any questions about Observer registration, please forward your inquiries to observerregistration@worldbank.org.

Civil Society Representatives

As in previous years, the IMF and World Bank Civil Society teams will host a Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) ahead of the official 2016 Spring Meetings April 15-17. The CSPF is a program of events to promote policy dialogue between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the IMF and the World Bank Group, their peers, and government delegations, on a wide range of topics. It will be held between April 11 and April 15, 2016.The schedule of sessions will be available by mid-March.

All CSO representatives interested in participating in the CSPF must obtain individual accreditation. This accreditation will also provide access to all the open events of the 2016 Spring Meetings.

The online registration system to accept applications for civil society registration will open on February 17, 2016 and will close on April 1, 2016. The registration process could take up to three weeks and no new registration requests will be accepted after this deadline, so CSO representatives are encouraged to apply early.

CSOs include non-governmental organizations, community groups, labor unions, indigenous peoples movements, faith-based organizations, professional associations, foundations, think tanks, charitable organizations, and other not-for-profit organizations. Representatives from the private sector, academia or governmental bodies must apply for accreditation through the “Guests” or other relevant registration category.

If you have any questions about the Spring Meetings and/or are interested in organizing a dialogue session within the Civil Society Policy Forum, please send an email to ngoliaison@imf.org (IMF) or civilsociety@worldbank.org (World Bank).

Guest registration for the 2016 Spring Meetings is now closed.

Applicants will choose whether they are to be listed as IMF Guests or World Bank Group Guests, based on their focus during the Spring Meetings. The choice of the Fund or the Bank will not preclude access to venues and events at the other institution. Therefore, except for restricted events, all Fund and Bank Guests will have access to both Bank and Fund venues.
