Paulo Drummond, a Brazilian national, is a deputy division chief in the African Department of the IMF. Mr. Drummond holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to Joining the IMF, Mr. Drummond worked for the holding company of the Group Bunge & Born and for Cooper’s & Lybrand. At the IMF, he has worked on a range of industrial, emerging market, and low-income countries in the Fund’s European and Policy Development and Review Department.
