Luca Sanfilippo is a research analyst in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He is a member of the Global Markets Analysis division and a contributor to the Global Financial Stability Report. His contributions to the GFSR span topics such as the measurement of co-movement across global asset prices, NPLs in the Euro Area, and illiquidity in EMs. Luca is a PhD. in Business Economics candidate at the KU Leuven and holds an MSc in Advanced Studies in Economics from the KU Leuven, an MsC in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp, and an MA in International Economics and Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
