Course Description
This course, presented by the IMF Legal Department, is designed to increase the familiarity of participants with the mutual evaluation process and timelines. It will cover the engagement with the assessor body before and after the onsite visit, including the face-to-face meeting and plenary related discussions. Presentations will also include an overview of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standard and how to demonstrate the Effectiveness of AML/CFT Systems.
Course Objectives
- Understand and address milestones and challenges related to a mutual evaluation process.
- Support efforts of their respective countries to prepare for and undergo a successful mutual evaluation.
