The Ninth IMF-Japan High-Level Tax Conference for Asian Countries in Tokyo

April 10-11, 2018

This conference, organized by FAD and Japan’s Ministry of Finance, and with extensive support from OAP, was attended by 48 senior officials in tax policy departments and tax administrations in Asia, which is the largest group that has yet attended this annual event. Deputy Managing Director Furusawa delivered an opening address. The conference comprises seven sessions and covered a wide range of emerging tax issues including international taxation, taxation and digitalization and VAT refunds.

The conference was financed by the Japan Administered Account for Selected IMF Activities (JSA).
