But EM growth performance has been more mixed since the global financial crisis, and more recently many EMs have been slowing down. Why are EMs slowing down, and will it continue? How will EMs be affected by tighter external financial conditions and less buoyant commodity prices? What are the key growth challenges facing EMs in the next 5-10 years? Which countries are likely to have a significant bearing on growth in the period ahead? This seminar will focus on the key challenges facing EMs and policy choices to ensure stability and restore the momentum of high growth.
