REGIONAL OFFICE FOR ASIA AND THE PACIFIC (OAP)

The IMF Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific accepts applications for the Summer Internship Program for the economist intern.

• Position: Economist Intern
• Period: Up to 3 months
• Office: Tokyo (Work-from-home arrangements considered for special occasions)
• Remuneration: An hourly-based stipend to be provided (No transportation cost or any other subsidies will be provided)
• Deadline: May 15, 2023

Job description:

The economist intern is expected to work on research projects under the guidance of OAP economists.

 

Requirements:

The economist intern must:

• Be enrolled as a university student in a PhD program in economics, finance, statistics, or a related field. Candidates in Masters programs with exceptionally strong quantitative skills will be considered.
• Have experience with DSGE modeling and empirical research
• Be fluent in English
