The IMF recruits analysts and coordinators across areas including administration, research, budget, finance, accounting, human resources, communication, and information technology.
Most analysts and coordinators will have a bachelors-level degree and/or relevant work experience.
To be eligible for an assistant role, candidates are usually required to already be living in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
Non-US citizens are eligible for a visa through the IMF.
Opportunities for analyst and coordinator roles will be advertised periodically on the IMF’s Workday website.
Administrative Coordinator roles are advertised on an ongoing basis throughout the year and candidates are normally initially hired into an Administrative Coordinator pool; most Administrative Coordinators initially join the IMF on a contractual basis as part of this pool.
