Alejandro Badel

Alejandro Badel is a Senior Economist at the Strategy Policy and Review Department's Inclusion and Gender Unit. An avid enthusiast of quantitative macro-inequality models, he has led research projects and policy work for the IMF, World Bank, and U.S. Federal Reserve, addressing issues like gender disparities, racial inequality, urban segregation, inequality and the life-cycle, taxing the top 1 percent, and long-run policy advise for low-income countries. Alejandro is also a devoted father, an advocate for parents in high-conflict custody cases, volunteer grant reviewer for the DC African-American Affairs Office, and an energetic volunteer in SPR's diversity and inclusion workgroup.
