Amadou Sy is the assistant director of the IMF's African Department. Previously, he worked on emerging markets and global financial stability in the IMF’s Research Department. He has also worked in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department, as a member of surveillance and program missions, financial sector assessment programs (FSAPs), and technical assistance work.
