Ashique Habib

Ashique Habib is an Economist in the Research Department of the IMF where he works in the Multilateral Surveillance Division. Previously, he worked in the IMF’s African Department and Institute for Capacity Development, covering real, monetary, financial and macro-structural issues. His research interests include financial development, misallocation, and productivity. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto
