Deepali Gautam

Deepali Gautam is a research officer in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department (MCM), and contributes to the sections of the Global Financial Stability Report (Chapter 1). Previously, she was associated with the Research department of the IMF, where she worked on the issues pertaining to the external sector. Her areas of research include cross-border currency exposures, income balance elasticities to income balance, and ESG finance. Prior to joining the IMF, Deepali worked as a sell side analysts and tracked infrastructure sectors of key emerging markets in South Asia.
