Delphine Prady joined the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2016. She is currently a Senior Economist in the Fiscal Affairs Department, where she covers a broad range of fiscal issues and provides support to governments on the prioritization of expenditure under tight fiscal constraints. From 2021 to 2022, Ms. Prady took leave from the IMF to serve as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of the Lyon Metropolitan Authority, the second-largest local government entity in France. Prior to joining the IMF, she worked at the French Treasury (2010–2012). She subsequently served as an advisor to the French Ministers of Social Affairs and Labour, as well as to the President of France (2012–2016). Ms. Prady is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (France) and holds a PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics (France).
