Etibar Jafarov
Etibar Jafarov is a Senior Economist in the IMF’s Western Hemisphere Department. Previously, he worked in the Monetary and Capital Markets, European, and Middle East and Central Asia Departments of the IMF. He holds a PhD in Economics from Keio University (Japan). His research has focused on fiscal policy issues, growth linkages, macrofinancial links, monetary policy framework, currency union issues, and financial stability issues.
